The Timeshare Family
December 31, 2009
Syed and I were on site at a resort in Solana Beach CA for many years. The name of the resort is Sand Pebbles. We have sold many timeshare resales to people from Arizona because of the great southern California weather in the summer months compared to Arizona. We have this one family who have purchased many timeshare resale weeks from us. We have sold 4 generations in their family. We are honored that they have always come to us to purchase. It is the highest compliment our company can receive. They are wonderful people who come every year to their home resort with the whole family and enjoy their ownership at the resort and each other. I asked if I could share their family vacation picture and with their approval I will post it in this article. I love their story. It is timeshare at it’s best! Everyone uses their resort to gather together every year. They even bring their bikes. What a great way to keep the family together.
Wyndham Resorts Indio California
November 19, 2009
About a month ago Syed and I went to California for a vacation. While we were there we visited several timeshare properties. Here is a review of The Wyndham Resort in Indio California. Indio is what brought me to California over 20 years ago. When I worked at Playboy in Lake Geneva WI there was a young salesman there by the name of Bobby Bunch. He was involved in Indian Palms located in Indio which was the first timeshare approved by the Department of Real Estate. Well, Indio has changed a lot in the passing years and one can travel to La Quinta, Palm Desert or Palm Springs which has a lot to do for a vacation. The units at Wyndham Resort in Indio are very nice. The three bedroom unit is one of the largest I have ever seen.
Currently there is a listing at Wyndham Old Town Alexandria it is 665,000 points annually available for $5,500.00.
Oahu Mini Vacation
July 15, 2009

Interval International and RCI are talking about mini vacations. If you don’t have time this summer to take a longer vacation why not take a mini vacation? Syed and I went to Oahu July 7, 2009-July 10, 2009 on our own mini vacation. We stayed at The Hilton Hawaiian Village in a one bedroom ocean view in the Lagoon Tower. I love this place. If you want the Hawaii experience you will get it here. You can spend the day at the resort enjoying the water sports, spa, restaurants, and pool to mention a few things to occupy your time. We like to walk to Waikiki and window shop and of course enjoy the many restaurants. We enjoy living in Maui however we really don’t have the choices of dining Oahu offers. Last time we were in Oahu we went to Doris Dukes. That is a very interesting tour. I highly recommend it. Read more
Westin Ka anapali Ocean Resort Villas, Maui, Hawaii
March 25, 2009
Syed and I had company last week from the mainland. Our friends own a two bedroom lockout at the Westin Ka anapali Ocean Resort Villas and were using the studio portion of the unit.
I thought you might enjoy seeing the North Villas. The bathroom is as large as the sleeping/living area and has a beautiful Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. The kitchen is the usual size for a studio, but big enough for breakfast and leftovers from one of the wonderful restaurants in Lahaina or the restaurant onsite in the North Villas.
This is a really beautiful property. Westin has some of the nicest timeshares in the industry. We were married at The Westin St. John in 1991. I will look for some pictures of the property to post on our blog as well.
The timeshare resale industry has slowed like all the other industries in the U.S. however we have been selling this property and the Marriott’s recently. Seems people always want quality. The upside of purchasing a timeshare resale now, is it seems the developers are not exercising their “first right of refusal” which allows a resale buyer to purchase at a lower price than in the past. There are more motivated sellers on the market. If it is not a Buyer’s market it is a Seller’s market. NOW it is a buyer’s market!
Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club – Our Timeshare Experience
March 24, 2009

Syed and I recently spent a few days at Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club in a one bedroom ocean view unit at this beautiful beachfront resort.
The last time we were there the new building (Lahaina Tower) was not blocking the view but it is still a comfortable and enjoyable spot to visit and vacation. The condo’s are nicely designed and furnished. Some touch up painting was being done while we were there and the smell was rather strong at times – but it was being done in the hallways and who stays in the halls very long anyway?
Maui has been having some overcast rainy weather this winter so snorkeling was out of the question but we had a great time anyway! Marriott gives their owner’s free drink passes to their restaurant, Longboard, which is located on the beach and pretty much makes it a must to stop by with such a great location!
This is definitely one of the nicest timeshare resorts on Maui. The Marriott’s Maui Ocean Club is just a short walk to Whalers Village which offers a variety of restaurants and shops to enjoy. The whales are still here and watching them from the lanai is a great way to pass the time! If you want to be a bit more active, check out the many water sports toys available. Personally, I can’t wait to go here again! There are some great buys on Timeshare Resales at this property.

The Point at Poipu- Kauai Hawaii Timeshare
March 3, 2009

Located in the Poipu resort area on the “Garden Isle” of Kauai The Point at Poipu condo’s offer full gourmet kitchens and large master baths.
On-site amenities include:
A fitness center
Barbecue and picnic areas
A lagoon designed swimming pool with its own white-sand beach and whirlpool spas.
Kauai is one of the most beautiful tropical Hawaiian Islands with breathtaking waterfalls, lava flues, impressive mountain cliffs, and lush botanical gardens. Great trails for everyone at every level of expertise!
I guess I shouldn’t forget the roosters. There are many feral roosters and chickens on Kauai due to a hurricane years ago. Some people find this charming. Me? Not so much.
If you are interested in timeshare resales at The Point at Poipu currently there is a two bedroom Ocean View every year usage available for $9900.00 http://www.hoteltimeshares.com

On our last day on Oahu
February 26, 2009

On our last day on Oahu our friends checked into the Penthouse unit in the Lagoon Tower at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village. We took some amazing pictures of the lagoon and ocean from this beautiful and spacious condo which includes a spiral staircase. What a wonderful way to experience this resort! This condo is well worth the 9600 Hilton points for the week. It sure made me want to stay an additional week! Hilton Hawaiian Village has fireworks every Friday evening which you have a birds eye view from the Penthouse. Ahhh, now this is the life!!

Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village Grand Waikikian
February 21, 2009
We vacationed in the new tower at Hilton Grand Vacations Club at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We took a tour of their one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom and Penthouse timeshare units.
The Penthouse is amazingly beautiful.
There is a view to die for from this condo located on the 39th floor. We were told it took 28,000 points for one week in the three bedroom Penthouse. WOW – that is a lot of points for just one week! Funny because when Syed got up this morning he said he didn’t know why people vacation for only one week.
Our flight was only 22 minutes from Maui. Most people who visit Hawaii travel all day or many hours to arrive. That is two days of precious vacation time just traveling.
Why buy Hilton Grand Vacation Club Points At Hilton Hawaiian Village timeshare resale?
You get more for your money! And with Hilton points you own the same thing as someone who buys direct from the developer. I asked what the Penthouse in the Grand Waikikian Tower was selling for and was told $150,000. The sales rep said they are selling fast.
We Maximized Our Hilton Grand Vacation Club Points.
Same luxury resort, with georgous views but requiring less points we opted to stay for the week in the Lagoon Tower. We think it makes much more sense to purchase a timeshare resale in a two bedroom in the Lagoon Tower, because you can have the same experience of luxury and save money. Best yet, use your points with high trade value to use at Hawaiian Village or at any other of the Hilton Vacation Club Properties
There are currently timeshare resales available at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Lagoon Tower for a two bedroom (7000 points) starting at $19,000. http://www.hoteltimeshares.com
Seems like the best buy to me.
Lifetime in Hawaii at The Royal Kuhio
February 21, 2009
This timeshare has a great location one block from the main drag in Waikiki where all the action is.
The condos sleep 4 and have an ocean view, city view or Diamond Head view. Each of the units has been very comfortably refurbished with new kitchens, carpet and furniture. There is also free parking at Lifetime.
We have clients who have purchased 4 months (13 weeks) of ownership. They live in Canada and spend the winters in Oahu.
In my opinion this timeshare is a great value. The maintenance fees are only $360 per week of ownership. Currently we have a timeshare resale at The Royal Kuhio priced at $2750. http://www.advantagevacation.com
What a great way to have an affordable vacation every year in Waikiki.
Our Trip to San Francisco and Wine Country
January 30, 2009
Bottle Shock, what a fabulous movie to see over the pond from Maui to San Francisco and on into Wine Country. The exquisite vineyard Chateau Montelena that put Napa on the map as the worlds best Chardonnay. Bottle Shock will be out on video in February.
It was a quick one, but boy was it fun! We have two friends with Birthdays and felt we couldn’t miss their celebrations. Especially because it would bring us back to people we love and areas we love. We gathered our points, booked our flights, used our Starwood points to reserve the Westin St. Francis using points and cash. (4000 points and $60.00 per night) This was the deal of all deals! The Westin St. Francis is right in Union Square. The most historical building so very beautiful. The location cannot be beat! We got into San Francisco around 9pm on the night of the 16th. Wolfgang Puck’s Postrio is located only a few blocks from the St. Francis and after dropping off our bags we trotted over and enjoyed their great wine selection and amazing Pizza. Not to be confused with his frozen pizzas. These pizzas are a work of art! We had a great nights sleep in the Westin St. Francis Heavenly bed. Appropriatly named!
